HARLING AND DISTRICT SOCIAL SUPPORT GROUP

The Group have been successful in obtaining a Grant from the Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund of the Norfolk Community Foundation. This has enabled us to book a number of Speakers, on topics relevant to the aims of the Fund, which is to help older people in Norfolk prevent or overcome problems which could affect their mental or physical health and wellbeing. These talks will take place at some of our regular weekly meetings throughout the Spring and Summer. We are sure they will be of interest to many residents of the village, and we invite everyone to attend.

March Events: :- 1st Coffee and Chat; 8th SPEAKER Joanna Mountjoy-Dixon “Dementia Awareness”; 15th SPEAKER Lesley Hood-Sackey (East Harling Pharmacy) “Health and Wellbeing Advice”;22nd Coffee and Chat; 29th Our regular monthly “Movement to Music” session with Diana*

Please Note that activities marked * are subsidised, therefore non-members attending will be asked to pay £5 per session (which includes materials where applicable). This will count towards their annual subscription, should they later join the Group.

If you would like to attend, but have a problem getting to the Rudd Room, please ring one of the numbers below, as we may be able to arrange for one of our members to give you a lift! . You don’t have to be a member, just come along any Wednesday morning and see who we are and what we can offer!
